18, 2022) Kenny Christy, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, reached
Portsmouth Raceway Park victory lane for the second time in 2022
on Saturday night, September 17 in what was his final event of
the season! Kenny clicked off the second quickest time overall
during Super Late Model qualifying prior to securing a victory
in his heat race. After starting the weekly main event from the
outside of the front row, Kenny grabbed the point on the sixth
circuit and drove away to collect the $2,000 payday at the Portsmouth,
Ohio oval. Finishing behind his #C7 machine at the checkers was
a top five that included runner-up Kevin Wagner, Mike Hildebrand,

Team Christy Racing Scratches
from Mudlick
(August
28, 2022) The #C7 team made a last minute decision, loaded
up, and headed to Mudlick Valley Raceway on Saturday evening,
August 27. The Super Late Models ran a weekly show last night
at the Wallingford, Kentucky oval and a $1,500 winner's check
was on the line. Kenny Christy laid down the second quickest lap
overall during the qualifying session and later placed second
in his heat race. With less-than-optimal track conditions, Kenny
and the team opted to load up and did not compete in the main

Overheating Issues Strike
Again at PRP...

21, 2022) Kenny Christy and his #C7 team were back at
Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening,
August 20 for a weekly Super Late Model program, which boasted
a $2,000 top prize. Kenny stopped the clock fifth quickest overall
during the qualifying session and later placed second in his heat
race. After starting the 25-lap feature distance from the inside
of the second row, Kenny was running in the third position before
overheating woes unfortunately sent him pitside shortly after
the halfway mark in the contest. At the pay window, the Vanceburg,
Kentucky ace was paid for an eleventh place performance. Complete

Kenny Christy Twelfth
in Boone Coleman Gator 50
(July
31, 2022) The #C7 team returned to racing action on Saturday
night, July 30 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio.
The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series presided over the annual
'Boone Coleman Gator 50' and a $5,000 winner's check was up for
grabs for the ground-pounding Super Late Models. Kenny Christy
posted the sixteenth fastest lap overall during the qualifying
session before running fifth in his loaded heat race. After starting
the 50-lap feature from the inside of the seventh row, Kenny was
making some headway towards the front of the stellar field before
losing a bout with the concrete wall. At the checkers, the Vanceburg,
Kentucky ace was paid for a twelfth place showing. Complete results

Christy Suffers Motor
Woes at Mudlick Valley...
(June
26, 2022) Team Christy Racing made their way to Mudlick
Valley Raceway for the first time in over twenty years on Saturday
evening, June 25. The Super Late Models raced for a $1,500 top
prize last night at the Wallingford, Kentucky oval. Kenny Christy
turned the fifth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session
and was leading his heat race when unfortunate motor problems
struck the #c7 machine. Kenny was forced to load up for the night

Overheating Woes Hamper

19, 2022) Fresh off their first win of the season, Team
Christy Racing was back in the pit area at Portsmouth Raceway
Park on Saturday, June 18. The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series
invaded the Portsmouth, Ohio venue and 31 entrants signed in for
the $5,000 to win 'Charlie Swartz Classic.' Kenny Christy stopped
the clock eighteenth fastest overall during the qualifying session
and later placed sixth in his loaded heat race. Unfortunately,
overheating woes caused him not to start his B-Main and the Vanceburg,
Kentucky ace was forced to watch the 40-lap headliner that was

Kenny Christy Charges
to Portsmouth Win!!
(June
5, 2022) In only his second event of the year, Kenny
Christy, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, secured his first Super Late
Model victory on Saturday night, June 4 at Portsmouth Raceway
Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! Kenny laid down the seventh quickest
lap overall during the qualifying session before placing fourth
in heat race action. He then started the weekly 25-lap headliner
from the inside of the fourth row and hard charged to the front
of the field. Kenny grabbed the point from Kirk Phillips on the
thirteenth circuit and led the remainder of the distance to pocket
the $2,000 payday ahead of a top five that included runner-up
Nick Bocook, Josh Bocook, Mike Hildebrand, and Brandon Fouts!

Incident Ends Christy's
2022 Season Opener

29, 2022) After an early end to last season, Kenny Christy
lifted the lid to his 2022 campaign on Saturday evening, May 28
in the opening night at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth,
Ohio. A weekly program was on tap for the ground-pounding Super
Late Models and a $2,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Kenny
stopped the clock tenth quickest overall during the qualifying
session prior to running fifth in his loaded heat race. The Vanceburg,
Kentucky ace then started the A-Main from the outside of the fifth
row and quickly moved up inside of the top five before an unfortunate
incident on lap 7 relegated him to a disappointing eleventh place

Christy an Early Retiree
in Boone Coleman Gator 50
(August
22, 2021) Following a weekend off, Kenny Christy and
his #c7 team returned to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth,
Ohio on Saturday night, August 21 for their 2021 season finale.
The Annual 'Boone Coleman Gator 50' was on tap last night at PRP
and the ground-pounding Super Late Models raced for a $5,000 top
prize. Kenny clicked off the fifteenth fastest lap overall during
the qualifying session prior to grabbing the fifth transfer spot
through his heat race. After starting the season-ending, 50-lap
main event from the inside of the eighth row, the Vanceburg, Kentucky
native unfortunately suffered terminal issues underneath the hood
early in the race and subsequently retired in the twentieth position.

Unscathed from PRP Incident

8, 2021) Team Christy Racing made their way back to Portsmouth
Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening, August 7.
A $2,000 top prize was on the line last night for the ground-pounding
Super Late Models at PRP. Kenny Christy clicked off the sixth
fastest lap overall during qualifying prior to running fourth
in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the fourth
row in the 25-lap weekly main event, Kenny unfortunately wound
up on his lid during the course of the contest. The Vanceburg,
Kentucky ace emerged unscathed from the incident, but cosmetic
damage on his #c7 mount caused Kenny to retire from the race in

(July
25, 2021) Kenny Christy and the #c7 team were looking
forward to competing in 'Jackie Boggs Night for the Kids' on Saturday
evening, July 24 at Portsmouth Raceway Park. A $2,000 winner's
check was up for grabs for the ground-pounding Super Late Models
at the Portsmouth, Ohio facility. Unfortunately, Kenny suffered
terminal motor issues following the hot lap session and was forced
to scratch from the remainder of the program. Shannon Thornsberry

20, 2021) Kenny Christy made his way to Portsmouth Raceway

'Charlie Swartz Classic.' A 40 car Super Late Model field converged
at PRP to vie for the $5,000 winner's check. Kenny laid down the
eleventh quickest time overall during qualifying before running
fifth in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main. Unfortunately,
the Vanceburg, Kentucky ace was not able to transfer into the
40-lap headliner that was ultimately won by Josh Bocook. Compete

another weekly Super Late Model showdown. Kenny Christy knocked
down the tenth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session
before placing fourth in his heat race. Kenny then started the
$2,000 to win headliner from the outside of the fourth row and
fought hard early in the 25-lapper for a top five showing. Unfortunately,
overheating woes caused him to pull of the track late in the distance
and the Vanceburg, Kentucky ace was forced to settle for an eighth

Season Lid Lifter at PRP

31, 2021) Kenny Christy and his #c7 team finally lifted
the lid to their 2021 racing season on Sunday, May 30 at Portsmouth
Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Battling through some first
night blues and handling issues throughout the evening, Kenny
posted the eighth quickest lap overall in Super Late Model qualifying
prior to placing third in his stacked heat race. After starting
the $2,000 to win headliner at PRP from the outside of the third
row, Kenny was able to hang on to finish right where he started...
in the sixth position behind only race winner Brandon Fouts, Shannon
Thornsberry, Mike Hildebrand, Nick Bocook, and Kirk Phillips.
